Jewellery sales assistant

Fine Jewellery Sales associates are expected to exhibit consistent and sustained performance in the following areas:

Achieving or exceeding individual sales goals established by management

Providing excellent customer service Accurately representing merchandise to passengers

Developing skills to become an effective speaker to promote brand and Boutiques

Maintaining perpetual inventory

Communicating product knowledge of merchandise to passengers in a clear, detailed manner

Effectively opening and closing the sale and understanding these techniques

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General

1. Achieve or exceed sales goals established by management.

2. Provide excellent Customer Service to all passengers.

3. Be aware of all marketing, advertising and promotional plans.

4. Be knowledgeable about merchandise and communicate specific product knowledge to passengers.

5. Demonstrate conscientiousness and willingness to take on additional responsibilities and projects, as assigned by management.

6. Complete sales transactions on the Omron Point of Sale system and exhibit knowledge of procedures related to customer sales.

7. Be knowledgeable of Boutique systems and adhere to Boutique policies and procedures (department-specific transactions, cash handling, processing chits, inventory control).

This position has the following requirements that must be met by all applicants:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in all positions
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to read and write English.
