Beverage Server

Main Duties

 • Organize and coordinate the beverage service in conjunction with Bartenders and Assistant Bartenders

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area (clear tables, wash glasses, etc.) in accordance with USPH standards

Job Responsibilities

 • Practices up-selling and suggestive selling techniques

• May assist in collecting and delivering bar provisions

• Assist in any cleaning duties around the bar and pantry

 • May assist in preparation of drinks as necessary

• Request proof of identity to verify age of Guest before serving alcoholic drinks to Guests that appear to be under age

• Demonstrate ability and confidence to discontinue serving alcohol to specific Guests

Average Contract Length

6 months on/2 months off

Minimum Hours Per Week

70 hours per week

Berthing

Shared -1 roommate Minimum Hours Per Week 70 hours per week

Travel

New hire organizes and pays for first 1-way ticket

Required/Desired: Experience, Qualifications, Education, Licenses

• Minimum one year experience within the Beverage industry with high volume experience preferred

• Ship experience preferred

• Knowledge of international and tropical cocktail recipes and international alcohol brands

• Must be able to lift a 30 pound tray of drinks

• Should have an outgoing personality


This position has the following requirements that must be met by all applicants:

  • Min 1 years experience in a similar position
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to read and write English.
